Kaci was the heart of this little shop and the inspiration behind this business. She came into my life with a curious nose and a calm patience that somehow made everything feel possible. Watching her snooze in a sunbeam her slow wag, taught me about presence, patience, and the simple joys that shape our days.

On April 22, 2026, Kaci crossed the rainbow bridge. Her loss is profound, and the studio feels quieter without her keen eyes and easy company. I miss her terribly, but I am grateful for the years we shared and for the way she shaped this work. Many of the designs and projects you see here were inspired by her — her graceful lines, her steady temperament, and the small, everyday moments she made special.
